Anyone out there fitted an uprated one of these to their tdi?
something like this is what I mean.

Or even better where can I get an uprated core for my pet welder to put in mine?

i have many friends that have high flow alisport intercoolers fitted to there 200 and 300 tdi's and they say the difference is fenominal. you can also accompany fitting i high flow intercooler with adjusting the fuel pump diaphragm to produce yet more power still

As above but dont adjust too much as it would fail the dreaded MOT on the smoke test.

Pace products sell the cores on there own for your welding pleasure. Have had cores for a chargecooler and cores for pre-rads from them.

IIRC Allisport fits intercoolers for free including tweaking the fuel pump to take advantage of the extra air available.

There were at least two companies at Billing last year doing drive in/out upgrades. Alisport possibly one, I think Allard the other.
Judging by the big pile of old cores (which I was sniffing around) - they were doing good business.

Just got a quote for just the upgraded core £85 not bad i thought cheaper than £295+ from other companies. Pet welder won't give me a quote till he's seen what's involved. If he's cheap i'll post a quote for us all on PH
