Im in the market for a newer Landrover at the end of the year, its down to two choices, and they are at both ends of the scale.1 is a RangeRover 3.0 Vogue 2. Is a Freelander 2.0TD4 Sport with the RR 20inch sport wheels fitted. The one thing putting me off the new RR is the parts prices,a freind of mine is an independant specialist in maintaing all Landrovers and recentley had two L322,s in for work to be done one needed a new alternator which is watercooled and costs a whooping £560+V.A.T thats without Labour, the second one needed a new drivers door mirror at a cost of £460.The whole parts issue is putting me off owning an L322.

yes l322 range rover parts prices are expensive so you may be better off getting the td4 as they are generally reliable apart from a few injector problems, but i wouldnt advise having 20 inch wheels one one as this very often causes rubbing on the suspension strutts and you can also feel every tiny blemish in the road. in my opinion the standard 18 inch freelander sport wheels are sufficient for road driving.
