Just getting the hang of all the various bits and pieces on the Rangie.

I noticed that teh dealer / previous owner had the tyres pumped to (what i think) is a rather high pressure of 40PSI front and back.

Not being particularly familiar with these sort of vehicules (i would run tyres in a regular saloon or sports car at 28 - 32 PSI) what pressure do you run yours at.

The manual says 28 - 30 front and 38 - 40 back, but this sounds a little odd to me.

What does the Pistonheads 4x4 enclave say is best for normal road use??

Still loving it

furthest offroad so far - the cobblestones in Wapping (or perhaps driving through Brixton last night could be concidered driving in hostile environment)

My Disco says 28F 38R for normal on-road use.

normal pirelli road tyres ... just that the previous owner / dealer had way over inflated then ...

Correct pressures and 21 quid down thick git fitters for a wheel ballance and everything is lovely and smooth on road.

Unbelievable but with 8mm tread (i checkecked with callipers when i got home) Quikfit stil tried to tell me that my tyres were almost gone ?!?!?!

hey hum!!
