as on another thread, i have just recently purchased a 2000 year 2.5DHSE range rover.

Being well aware that i had purchased something very slow, i have also been looking at options to chip / remap the beast.

so far superchips.co.uk seem to offer (on paper / web) the best package without looking like pure ebay BS.

Anyone had experiance of them, or who will give (non binding ) recomendations for other products.

I am not after a rocket ship, just something that will make the acceleration a little faster for motorway slip ramps and the like.

(well, ok if it will make the whole driving experiance faster i wont complain )

However, loving the beast so far!

There are quite a few to choose from, these are ones I've heard of and considered.

JE Engineering in Coventry have an excellent reputation www.jeengineering.co.uk and I've heard many good things about their chips but not used them myself.

Allisport in Glos www.allisport.com Driven a Disco 300Tdi Auto which was done by them and it was way better than I'd ever imagined one could be!

Twisted Performance www.twistedperfromance.co.uk

If I had to go for one I'd probably choose JE, Land Rover themselves used them to do the 4.2 V8 in the LSE Classic and they work closely together.

cheers .... seems that there are none in the south east (not even chelsea) so will be a weekend away for me ....

could always stick the missus in a health spa, may even get away without the usual "wasting money on cars again" speach that way

There's a chance one of these companies have "approved" fitting centres - maybe worth giving them a call and seeing if they have anyone near London. If not its the cost of the health spa to consider!!

Jeremy Ferne is supposed to be very good and comes highly recommended, try some of the Landrover mags there is always adverts in there for him.I think he does a chip and bigger intercooler upgrade with a power output of 200bhp for around £1500
