Morning Gents
I have just purchased a W reg Range Rover and it didnt come with a Manual. First off where can I get one from as there are a few buttons that I'm not sure what they do. Secondly what tyre pressure does the manual recomend as one of mine is looking a little low.

Cheers

On the assumption you have either 255/65x16 or 255/55x18 the pressure figures for all load conditions are as follows:

Front: 28lb sqr inch. 1.9 bar.

Rear: 38lb sqr inch. 2.6 bar.

As for getting manuals, ebay is probably best or pay more and order from the main dealer. Be careful which handbook you get. Earlier cars had a very nice leather lever file (our 1997) and later cars have a folder with the manuals slipped in (our 2002). I don't know what year they changed over so may be worth checking with your dealer or specialist.

What buttons are you not sure about? If you can post a description and/or pics I'll try to help.

Thats great thanks for the help

There are a couple buttons forinstance does the button on the left of the central console with a motorway symbol on it just do Cruise controll? Seems like a funny place to put it...
Also there is a lever that pulls out on the left to the side of the steering wheel. It dosent seem to do anything.
I also cant figure out how to do the seat memory thing although I have spent many fine hours in traffic jams experimenting with different seat positions.

Motorway symbol when pressed will light up and that activates Cruise Control. You then need to press the "SET" button on the steering wheel and Cruise takes over. Continuing to press "SET" will increase the speed. After hitting the brakes you will then need to press the "RES" (Re-set) button to return to the Cruise speed. Accelerating above the set cruise speed is fine and once you've finished your action the car will return to the set cruise speed. Pressing the motorway switch again will deactivate the cruise.

The lever on the steering wheel allows you to adjust the wheel in out or up down.

Memory seats as follows:

Set seat position with the various controls. Press "MEM" and either 1 or 2 at the same time and then hold for a couple of seconds and the car will beep to tell you the memory has been set. Once you have set both seat positions you just single press either 1 or 2 and it will return to the programmed positions. This should work with the wing mirrors as well. You can also activate the seat/mirror positions with the remote handsets which should be numbered 1 & 2. If car is left in seat position 1 and hand set 2 is used to unlock the car next time, just hold down the un-lock button until the seat starts to move and let go. The seat/mirrors will automatically move to position 2. Vis versa for hand set 1.

"Resume", not "Re-set".
