I would have thought that Staffs and Shrops had a RoW rep? If not then sign up to Wayfinder or come along to the next Marches GLASS pub meet (first Thursday of the month in Bromyard - see the relevant website). Please read the articles on that website re code of conduct and NERCA too.

Bumped into a group of Shropshire laners a couple of years back, I think that they were from around Craven Arms or maybe a little further North. I'll ask a friend if he can remember where they met up, if they are still going. The Marches GLASS group is an excellent source of lanes for Powys, Ceredigion, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and many other counties besides. I've been laning with them for about seven years in those counties, always good fun and we get some good projects to do too (Cheney Longville is a good example of our repair work).

Happy laning

Thanks for the advice. As you've suggested clubs and organisations like GLASS are a great way of accessing local knowledge, routes etc.

Even so - I still think there is room for a national website showing a directory of routes (maybe accessed using club password??), a place for laners (if that’s even a word!) to add their favourites and maybe leave reviews.

That is exactly what wayfinder is, "a national website showing a directory of routes (maybe accessed using club password??), a place for laners (if that’s even a word!) to add their favourites and maybe leave reviews" although the user interface leaves a little to be desired I understand that the site has recently undergone some improvements. Happy laning,
