Yep - the easter hols have bored me into doing something with it, my Series 3 V8 trialler. So i went to Craddocks, who relieved me of 80 quid for a new front chassis, chopped the old one off (which was easy as there wasnt much ataching it anyway ) and slid the new one on. the nearside was fine, as this wasnt as rotten to begin with, but the drivers side had to be totally reconstructed right back to the shock mount.

The hardest part was getting the damn steering relay out - i ended up cutting it out with the gas.

Anyway, its now sitting pretty, just the rear crssmember to do now! Oh, and the hole in the middle crossmember.

On a plus point, i flushed the rad while it was out, and the V8 runs a bit cooler now, but it realy wants an electric fan, as it hates trundling round on a hot day in low first, cos there is little air flow.

But its all on the to-do list.

No pics as yet im afraid - ill put some up when im finished.

Im in my local Landy club, in which i trial. (atm only TYRO, cos i have no driving licence, but ill do the real thing once i've passed my test.)

It should be good, i have a considerably lower budget than most, but it has soft standard springs; it has more articulation than our Disco!, brand new studded XCLs, and of course the V8, which is awesome compared to the 2.25 petrol that i trial in at the moment.
