Evening folks..

The old man is looking at getting rid of his Defender 90.

It was rebuilt by Liveridge 4x4 in 2004 to order for my dad, he bought it as a retirement present to himself.

It's really not getting the use that he'd like, and he now has a ford fusion for tooling about in.

It's in pretty good condition, mechanically and bodywork wise.. He's talking about flogging it back to liveridge for them to sell it on, but I just know he'll get next to nothing for it, only for them to make a nice wedge on it..

Has anyone any recommendations for me? Clubs to approach, places to advertise, know someone that wants one... etc etc...

If you want any more details, let me know and I'll stick them up.. if necessary, I'll throw a classified ad up on PH..

Cheers in advance all..

I would check for similar specs on Autotrader to see what it's worth, and put an ad there, or in the local paper, or in a Land Rover mag. LROI have a regular roundup of stuff going through at auction, and it seems Defenders are being snapped up for more money than expected, especially 90 Station Wagons - therefore it should not be too difficult to sell. I would avoid selling to a trader as you will lose at least £1000 this way.
