Can anyone recommend a good Land Rover specialist around the S/E who would service a Range Rover Classic for a reasonable sum?

I'm also happy to travel further afield if it's easy to get to and from on the train.

Thanks in advance!

Gumtree know what they're doing, but I found the prices getting steeper and they did a lot of work that I didn't deem necessary for an MOT. Do most of it myself now or take it to a local garage who do the stuff to keep it running (it's a Defender, who cares if everything's not perfect). If something I couldn't cope with I'd consider going back there again though as they do a good job. Get them to give you a quote but expect the final cost to be more! I think they do more road motors now and aren't so interested in muddy Defenders, so charge me more!

Ed,

I use Graham Goodyer - they are based just near Amersham and are excellent enthusiast specialists. Fantastic service and great guys who really know their stuff. Kind of people who will fix a component if possible rather than replacing the entire unit in a Main Dealer type way...

Thanks for the replies - I've managed to find somewhere that's a bit closer to home, and easy to get to from work, plus they're slightly cheaper than the other places I've tried. Has anyone used these guys before?
