RANGE ROVER TD6 tuning box v chip

has anyone fitted either a tunning box (approx £100-200) or a proper chip / map (approx £500-700) to a td6 range rover.

just wondered is the chip / map worth the extra or is the tuning box good enough to give it more grunt.

Had the DMS upgrade on my wifes Disco 3 TDV6 if that helps!

other half has a sport, know his was chipped......mind you he broke it gearbox fell out along with loads of other problems....hes picked up his new one today so no doubt that will be sent to the garage for an upgrade....sure if you pm him he will tell you all abt it!

I have the DMS tuning box on my TD6. Difference is like night and day.

Would never even have considered buying a TD6 if I couldnt have this upgrade done!

How much was the DMS box. Also, how much difference in MPG?

Can't remember exactly but it wasn't cheap... around the £800 mark I think.

No difference in mpg, still return 24-26 mpg.
