Intermittant batery drain P38

I am sure most will know this, i did not !! If you park near certain transmitters (433 mhz), ie weather stations,door bells etc, it will drain the battery as the BECM keeps waking up. The local dealers told of new BECM £1000 but if you remove the aerial from the blipper reciever, it will not do it. Its a known issue and i only found out after my weather station thingy was installed. So if your neighbour has had one for Christmas and you car drains its battery, check it out.
Just means you have to get close to the car to open the doors with the blipper.

Suffered exactly the same this time last year ...... after I got my wife a weather station for Christmas. Others have suffered similar with electric gates, garage doors etc.
