Anyone know how the heater is configured.
Does the heat lever operate a water valve to control temp or does the matrix have water passing all the time with the lever only controlling air flow?

The heater is cold and so is one of the supply pipes so the options are:
Air lock
blocked matrix
cables come of the valve (if it has one)

Thanks
Steve

Found the answer.
No valve just free flow of water.

Or no free flow until you blow out the slug of sediment.

All flushed and working again.

No cost, has to be a first for a LR.

I take it you just flushed it through with the hose ?As you say it makes a change for a classic RR not to cost for repairs, going by my one!

Tried to blow through it one way without success but a good blow on the other side cleared a slug of sediment. I then flushed it in both directions with a hose.
