DiscoII Rear Door

Small problem with my '98 Discovery. The handle on the rear door tends to attract dirt and grime, and will get stuck every couple of weeks (after I lube it up). Anyone have any suggestions for more permanent fixes?

I give mine squirt every now and then. It's n ever any trouble.

I dont know a cure, but ours is always stuck up so we prised out the Land Rover badge to prod it down from the top. Crude, i know.

Thanks. I've been driving around with the LR badge removed for a couple weeks now, but the Mrs. is getting annoyed with the aesthetics.
