Range Rover Sport 2015 with wireless CarPlay

Just bought my first Range Rover. It’s a 2015 RangeRover Sport Autobiography and very nice it is too.

I’m puzzled by the infotainment screen. It has the InControl app, wireless hotspot and wireless CarPlay. I didn’t think all this existed on a 2015 model. Is this all likely to have been retrofitted at some point?
If so should it all work with the Land rover app and where does the sim go?

Mr Google says none of them had wireless CarPlay until at least 2020.

Will be aftermarket, something like the ID-Core system. This is almost certainly accessed by ’Nav’, which will have been disconnected.
