I'm looking at getting into a 110 P400 in a 2021or 2022 model year. It will do approx 7k a year.

Any owners of the P400 have any experiences, good or bad.

Any must have accessories - It's only going to be used on tarmac or a muddy lane.

I have previously owned a Freelander i6 and a Disco 3 V8

On current and recent L663 Defender, the presence of a DC to DC converter is on all MHEV and PHEVs. This includes D200, D250, D300, D350, and P400 MHEV and V8 OCTA.

I've got a P400 engine in a Range Rover and I think it's an underrated engine. Id' take a DC-DC converter any day in exchange for the diesel emissions faff: it's smooth, rapid and flexible. It's not as peak torquey as D300 & D350, but it's broader running from 2000 all the way to 5000 rpm.

Thanks for that, I'm looking at one tomorrow. I've seen the videos that Powerful UK have put out on the DC-DC Converter issue. I'll be interested to see if the factory software upgrade goes any way to sorting the issue.
