Trying to find original spec of car

Evening all

I’m trying to find what options a disco sport has, with a view to buying. In the past, I’ve been able to find this through the VIN numbers (BMWs admittedly)….is there a way to do this for a land rover?

All searches have been unsuccessful!!

I believe it should be available via JLR TOPIx but you'd need to be registered and potentially have a subscription.
