Side steps for new defender 90

The new defender 90 with air suspension, do you really need side steps to made access easier and if so can someone recommend a company who supplies a good aftermarket set as they all look the same , when painted ! Some made from steel tubes and some aluminium, some step tops are pvc or rubber. price starts from £145 to £550 for a set made in china, I know you get what you pay for , but some companies just mark up product, but same poor quality.
