Freelander 1.8 ES Valuation
Discussion
Hi all!
I'm posting on behalf of a mate who is selling his Freelander and I wondered if I may pick the brains of the experts on this forum as to its valuation.
He has been to dealers and they have offered in the realms of £8,000 and pretty much turned their nose up at it as it is a petrol model. Is this what he can expect or were they being a tad cheeky?
Anyway, details as follows:
Land Rover Freelander 1.8ES
2003 '03'
Petrol
3 door Hatchback
Silver
6700 miles
If you need any more info to be able to deduce an accurate valuation then please let me know and I can ask him.
Any replies gratefully received! :)

That does seem a bit stingy, however Land Rover dealers are doing all they can to get out of their stocks/allocation of Freelanders due to the new model that's soon to appear. (Spring/summer next year)
I presume the 2003 car your friend has got is the "old" shape (pre headlight and interior update etc) which will also affect it's value.
I'd suggest a private sale. It's still a popular car for the private punter.
