Afternoon all,

Beautifully timed for the cold snap, my timed climate FBH has stopped working. It has worked before (I cant pair a mobile fob to do it remote so have used the timed function on the dash).

Any ideas what fuses to check and if anything else obvious can be checked by me?

I've had quite a few cars with the FBH, several of which had problems where the FBH stopped working - in each case it turned out to be related to the car battery (everything else would work and no outward signs of any issues, however the Webasto FBH seems very sensitive to voltage levels).

Obviously might not be your problem, however maybe worth checking the voltage levels?

Agreed, the battery is the first place to investigate. You may need to swap it if it’s not holding sufficient charge. The FBH take a lot of charge to run for 20-30 mins.

I agree batteries are usually the first port of call for many RR issues but I replaced both batteries a month ago and the car doesnt really get used for short journeys.

A run up to Penrith from South Cheshire tomorrow should top up the battery and I'll time it to come on in the morning, that should test the battery theorem.

Have you tried switching in on with the fob? Any difference?

Ive got a new and old style fob and I couldn't get it to pair, when I had new batteries put on a month ago the local specialist couldn't get it to pair either.

The FBH did work off the timed climate though so it has recently worked. The fob would be the ideal solution if I could get it to pair

thanks Phil, ive posted there too, I was hedging my bets in case some knowledge is on here that doesn't go on there.

If I cant figure it out it is going for a dealer service next month so the warranty can sort it, just hope it doesnt get too cold in the mean time

Sounds to me like one of the fobs needs to be re-registered with the system. If it’s a L405 then the remote unit is in the boot on the RHS. But the guys on FFRR have more knowledge and there are a couple of specific threads so worth a search on there.

Also it may be the case that only one of your fobs (if they are different types) will sync with your system.

Good luck with the DIY route as I don’t have much faith in LR dealers knowledge of such matters.
