My 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 has been a great car, but I feel that it is time for a change. I’m really tempted by the RRS SDV8 autobiography dynamic, probably a 2019 or 2020 car, but will I be able to get it insured for a reasonable price? My current (Admiral) insurance on the SDV6 went up significantly, with absolutely no changes, so how badly am I likely to be robbed if I go for the SDV8?

Probably even more so given the current insurance market but the obvious thing to do is run a quote using a reg off auto trader on a comparison website

I went from an RRS V6 to FFRR SDV8 almost two years ago and hardly noticed a difference. Like everyone else though my insurance has gone up this year by a big jump. V annoying.

Call your insurance company and ask frown

Other people quoting their insurance premiums is completely pointless as everyone is unique in terms of insurance.
