Lots of horror stories.

Glad they have noticed.

If in doubt and you haven’t received a letter then check.

Be a shame to miss out on a freebie.

I had a freebie on my L322 , front brake pipes
Took it in to LR Knutsford waited an hour , can't do it , nipples seized you'll have to book it in again

OK is that still covered under the recall ,

No that's extra work , an hour a side @ £210 ( + vat i assume)

When would you like to re-book

I'll check my diary

You'd be mad to let a main dealer loose on a rusty range rover at £4 a minute

My L405 went in today for the recall and one of the knuckle joints is cracked redface The parts aren't in stock so I am now without a car for an undetermined period of time. In fairness, the dealer is speaking with JLR to sort me a courtesy car whilst mine is off road, so I'm just waiting to hear when I will be able to get one

Sorry to say you need to plan for this being a while. It is on persistent backorder.

I'm three months waiting for a knuckle - car been left in the MD compound the whole time. They have sorted me a courtesy, to their credit.

That's serious. 2015 car taken/posted 2 years ago.

Update - car was completed within 2 working days (weekend in between the Friday and Monday). Apparently they managed to get the parts from another dealer so I'm happy and impressed. They replaced both sides even though only the driver's side was cracked so should be nice and safe now

Good result. My delay is due to a rear knuckle which are unobtanium.

They did the same for mine, but because it was the pipe on the passenger side which "looked corroded" the work was brake pipes for *both* sides from caliper to ABS block. That'll be £1300+VAT please, and maybe another £400 if we can't unseize the brake caliper bleed nipples. The pipes are about £100 off the shelf from them, so presumably 6 hours to replace very simple pipes.
