Milltek resonated or non, on a defender 90. Thoughts

Is there much difference between the non resonated or resonated exhaust. Start up and normal driving mode. On a V8 Defender 90

Cat back, no cat or sports cat exhaust? No cat and non-res will be loud enough to irritate the neighbours. Full/sports cat and non-res will still be very loud.

Different car but I started out with a res and it wasn't much above standard, so chucked on a non-res and was much happier...

I had non res on a V10 audi. Loudish on start up then eased off, but sound was a big trouser moment. Haven't heard a better sounding engine.

It's non resonated at the moment and is loud on start up and on revs. I could even want it quieter on low revs tbh.... maybe I'm getting old, but not old enough for the factory exhaust.

I have ordered the non resonated box to see what it is like. ..and I'm going to guess it may be a little disappointing...I've seen YouTube clips, and it doesn't sound much above the standard.

Yes but resonated at between 50-70 the drone from the exhaust will fry your brains and make you feel like slitting your wrists..

Right, the non is on the car at the mo. ... paid for the front box, told the garage I'll pop in, have it put on, test drive it, then make my mind up. ... do you know what it's like with the resonated exhaust on the V8 defender?
At this rate, I'll end up going back to the factory exhaust 🙄🙈

No idea on a Defender but on my Audi, VW and Subaru the non - res was the loudest, the res was still loud-ish but not droney, and still louder/meatier than standard. That was x2 Milltek and a Scorpion BTW.
