FFRR V8 diesel v 2020 alternative engine's
Discussion
Currently drive a 2017 V8 Diesel and looking to upgrade to a circa 2020 model with the same engine.
Research has shown that LR stopped using the V8 Diesel in the RR in 2020, so I still have the option to get the same enhine as I love the power delivery etc, but should I be considering other 'more modern' options?
D300 - 3 ltr straight 6 with batteries, seems to be similar price range to V8
D350 - straight 6 with batteries (seems to come at quite a price premium compared to the V8 and not many around)
P400e - 2 litre with batteries, which to me seems a very small engine for a RR but has the advantage of batteries for local computing.
Anyone had experience of any or all of the above?
My gut feeling at the moment is to stick with the well proven V8 Diesel.
