Hi all,

I currently have a lease BMW. I have owned a P38 4.0 and an L322 TDV8.

I've loved them both,

If it was up to me I would be shopping for a 2018 or later 5.0 supercharged

However, as is always the case, life gets in the way.

Can anyonne give me a good reason to avoid 2013 or later L405 RR?

Because I am ready to buy!!

No hehe

You state ‘buy’ as opposed to lease.

Harry Metcalfe and Jeremy Clarkson have both just done a joint video on why they both love their older, first gen L322 TDV8’s.

I have a strong distrust of newer vehicles and how hard and expensive they can be to fix when they go wrong.

Personally, I’d give some consideration towards getting a L322 and spending some of that spare cash, (vs a P405), on getting all the jobs done to it and getting it absolutely mint.

Is an L405 considered a "new" vehicle nowadays? They've been around for over a decade and have proved to be pretty strong. Any of their foibles or weaknesses are well documented now.
