I have had a L460 plug in 440e Autobiography on order since it was announced in Feb '22.

I was initially told it would arrive around May '22 with the big push for JLR to meet their 'green' sales requirements.

Still no 440e but have had a new RR sport 510e and currently a diesel L460 Autobiography in the meantime.

I was advised last week that my order has now been upgraded to the bigger 460e battery version, but still no indication for build date.

I'm not really fussed as I have been lucky enough to have had both of the new models in the meantime.

The new Sport was fab, but do prefer the bigger brother; however, i really miss the plug-in hybrid of the sport so looking forward to IMO, the best of both worlds.

Has anyone else been waiting for a plug-in Range Rover order for a while?

Not a FF RR, but a RRS.....

We have had a RRS P440e on order since June last year.

Yesterday I had an email out of the blue from the dealer saying my order has now gone to "confirmed" status and that I will now actually be getting a P460e!

First I'd heard of it to be honest and no idea why it's taken a year to get to a "confirmed" status - not sure how much longer that means build will take.

Final surprise is that the car seems to be about £8k more expensive than it was when I ordered!

First time I've ordered a LR product so it's been a strange experience I have to say. I'd actually half-forgotten I'd ordered a RRS last year!

RRS for me too... Ordered in June last year and due to be delivered on Friday, one year to the day since I first enquired.

I've missed out on the bump to 460e, which looks like a nice upgrade for EV range and efficiency. It's not all bad though, as it also means I missed the price rises.

Yeah, me too....... I've also been waiting since Feb 2022 for a P440e AB LWB - Now as you say, changed to 24MY and another increase in price.

I've kind of lost interest now to be honest. After all the L460 hype, I'm beginning to see it as just another car! (Plus I had one on loan the other week, and nobody seems to be talking about the excessive wind noise created by the wing mirrors at 70mph+!)

Furthermore, the ever increasing RRP is starting to make them look a bit too much money for what they are. With Deployable Side Steps and a couple of other bits, I'm now at circa £140k.

I've got a few other cars, and also a Defender 130 Dynamic HSE due at anytime (which we have to have for transporting the dogs), so I'm just not sure I can justify the cost, or if I'm even that bothered anymore.

You’ll have still copped the April price rise though right?

No, mine was unchanged from the original order last year.

You’ve worked some magic then because I picked mine up on 31/3 and the dealer was spending the rest of the day breaking the bad news to customers waiting for theirs that they were about to have to pay an extra £5k over their initial quotes.

Yup.

Unless delivery was made before the price increase, all orders are subject to the increase.

My 440e order from Feb 2022 has now been subject to 2 price increases.

My current 350 diesel was collected on 3rd March which was around a week before it jumped up by £5600.

I got lucky then.

It seems there's a lot of inconsistency around all the price increases to both the RRS and the FFRR.

Edit: Checking back on dates, mine got a build slot allocated just before the big April price rise. Maybe that explains it.
