Interested in views given seems hard to get test drives due to limited stock

Currently have a 3L diesel discovery 5 but given eco etc looking at petrol next time. Tempted by a V8 for performance but can’t decide whether the considerable extra cost is worth it over the 3L petrol

Want to also use it for light off-road on shoots like the discovery but mostly road and some towing of trailer up to c.3T

Thanks

Urban at Stony Stratford Milton Keynes have a V8 sat unsold for some time . Nothing at Urban is ever cheap but enjoyable nonetheless

I've not driven the V8 to be fair, but I have the P400 in a 90 and it's more than adequate for acceleration. I wouldn't be inclined to pay an extra £20,000 odd to get a V8.

Also, MPG is only 25, I shudder to think what the V8 is.

Is there much of a difference MPG wise between the V8 Defender and the V8 SVR ? There wouldn’t be much in it I imagine

Life is too short not to have a V8.

Get the V8.
