Got the brake pad warning in our 2018 Evoque yesterday. So just got first chance to look. The first pic is of the front pads. In my opinion they dont look too bad. The 2nd pic of rear pads look like they are a good bit more worn. So I would think its the rears that need immediate attention. I suspect its had the fronts replaced not too long ago and the rears are original. What do we think ?

The discs both front & back have no lip. But some roughness on the rears which can be seen.

Yep, new pads and sensors on the rear, do the discs next time. Fronts look fine (unless inner pad more worn)

If your evoque has the same braking set up as my freeby2, which I feel it does.
The front pads are 15mm. The rears are 9mm.

I questioned this as my car needs rear brakes after 2 years and was told that 20-30k is usual for rears due to the smaller pads.
Which was very surprising, but getting done Thursday.

I just had the MOT on my Disco Sport. 47K. Advisory front pads and disk-lipped. Rears were replaced last year at 38k.
