Cost of LR warranty on a used 2019 Velar purchase?

Does anyone know what the annual cost of this is and whether it's even possible to put a LR warranty on a used car once the manufacturer's warranty has expired?

I'm planning on buying a 2019 Velar, but would not want to own a LR product without a warranty.

Will probably require a LR inspection if the car does not have an existing factory/dealer warranty on it but given you are looking at one only 3-4 years old most will only just be out of the new car warranty period.

Dive in and get a quote, got to be better than a 3rd party one at least

I don't have a Velar but I do have a LR Discovery Sport. It's a 2015 2.2 HSE Lux. I bought it from a JLR MD in 2016 and it came with the remaining 2 year JLR warranty. When that expired I took out the available JLR extended warranty and I have renewed it every year since. This year it cost £1099. This is for the complete package; there are various levels you can choose.

The warranty is renewable for vehicles up to 10years/100,000 miles, whatever first occurs.

Our Defender is just approaching the end of its 3-year warranty and we asked LR Boston for a quote to extend for 12 months - they gave us a figure of £912 (without assistance).

A quick look at the Land Rover online quote here: https://www.landrover.co.uk/ownership/warranty/lan... came back with a quote of £846.
