Charging the battery on 2021 Evoque

Wife tells me her Evoque came up with a low battery warning this morning but started OK. She's at work at the moment so I won't get chance to look at it until tonight.

Plan to put it on my C-Tech charger but wanted to know if it can be charged through a socket in the boot or if it needs to be direct connection on the battery?

Also is this warning common on the latest car as only 18 months old from new?

C-tech usually provide a lead with crocodile clips, you can put that straight onto the battery.
Works on my Evoque!

Thanks for the feedback Watcher, did you disconnect the battery? Seems to suggest this when you look in the online iControl but offers little more information, which seems restrictive.
