Range Rover Velar SVA exhaust?
Discussion
Hi guys
I have a Range Rover Velar SV Autobiography with the 5.0 supercharged engine and the active exhaust.
I think these models have exhaust valves that open depending on rpm - have not been able to confirm other than with the window down and tootling or booting it.
Just wondering if anyone knows a way to change this to keep the valves open constantly.. I've scoured the internet and asked a few people but due to the rarity can't get an answer
TIA

If it’s like the F-Pace SVR then it should be fairly straight forward.
Presumably you have a button in the cabin for the active exhaust valves? If you have then it should be relatively straight forward. You could also have a look at the rear silencers and see if you can see electrical cables connecting to some control units - it’s these that you’ll need to disconnect (once you’ve forced the valves to wide open).

Just stumbled across this. I actually just purchased the same car for my other half. It has a Quicksilver Active exhaust on it which has a monstrously wonderful sound, valves open or closed. Only problem, my other half wants to car to be quiet! 😂 Open to swap if that is of any interest to you?

Hey harrywhite7 where are you located. I have a stock SVA I would be interested in buying your exhaust. You can buy the stock one and put it on. I want to keep my stock exhaust so I can sell the car stock afterwards.Gassing Station | Land Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
