tailgate operation

A simple thing really but I would like confirmation, please.
If I either press the button on the dash or tailgate button, only the top half of the tailgate opens. I then press the button on the lower section and that opens too. When I press the internal upper tailgate button, both sections close.
If I press the button on the key fob, both sections of tailgate open or close as required.
Is this correct?

Well, it might depend on the model you’re talking about! If it’s the L405 then you’re correct with all of the above.

Yes, it’s an L405.

For some reason, I thought that pressing the button on the dash opened both halves of the tailgate.
