LPG conversion on 2001 Range Rover
Discussion
After much searching of the market I've just bought a Jan 2001 registered Range Rover Vogue 4.6 with only 33k miles.
Fabulous car, the only down side I foresee at the moment is the terrible fuel consumption, therefore it has always been my intention when I found the right car to convert to LPG.
Does anyone have any experiences of gas conversions generally on Land Rovers or this model of Range Rover in particular?
It seems sequential gas injection is the latest technology but are there other developments in gas technology I should be aware of when searching the market for a conversion?
Any views, advice or info will be welcome.
TIA

Ive got a '95 4.6 SE on LPG, the conversion transformed the car, use it all the time now.
I rang loads of places before getting the conversion
done the is a lot of conflicting advice, particlarly over the possible 'back firing' problem. To add my two pence worth, talk to loads of people, spend a bit extra on good kit, but most inportant get a professional to fit it, its worth every penny. Try talking to Autogas 2000 up in Thirsk, they gave me some good solid advice which appeared pretty unbiased.
You won't regret the conversion.
