Just looking for some advice from some RR sport owners current and previous. As I am potentially in the market for one.

Looking at 2015-2019 Range Rover sports, diesel due to a commute around 40miles a day. Looking online LR quote around a 5mpg fuel difference between the 2.0L and 3.0L. What are people getting 'real life' mpg?

Also what sort of things should I look at maintenance wise that might be due soon/should ideally have been done? Any other costs to consider?

Looking at ones around the 27-35k price mark which is around low 40k miles up to over 100k. Will also be making sure FSH.

Thanks in advance

Cant comment on the 3.0 as I avoided due to the crank issues they have. Ive got a 66 plate 4.4 V8 diesel and its not epicly bad at all. Real world, its 26mpg on fast A/B roads or around town. Its 33-37mpg on the motorway.

Didnt realise they did a 2.0; it must be comedically slow!

We've got two, a 2014 3.0 TD and a 5.0 SVR. The diesel was supplied by Overfinch so I suspect the engine mapping has been tweaked but that delivers about 36mpg and used mostly on short commutes. A friend has a 2.0 and reckons you have to push it a bit harder and so it's actually less economical as a result.
