Hi all

Ive just bought a 3.9 Classic this week on LPG with torpedo tacnks under the sills and I was wondering if there were any guards available for the tanks as I don't want to puncture them when I go green laning etc.

TIA

I have a similar set up and am really nervous about grounbd clearance. Have made a decision to ditch the petrol tank and move sill tanks there and get a small petrol tank for reserve/starting.

There isn't a lot you can do apart from make a skid cage around them. Even still, I'd be nervous.

Sounds like I might have to have a word with the local truck yard. They should be able to knock something up for me.

All depends on the size of your tanks and what you want to do with it I suppose.

My tanks are about 6 inches lower than the chassis rails, which really hampers the ground clearance. I want to get them tucked away above the chassis protected by a steel plate and the tow bar fixing.
