2016 DS Front Camera FUBAR

The front camera (part of the Vision Pack) has recently gone on strike. I have checked the lens and it is clean. There is a warning message saying 'Refer to Dealer' has anyone else managed to overcome this without resorting to main dealer attitude (keep removing & replacing until the whole system is new) & pricing?
Possibly electrical.
I'm based in Clevedon - any recommendations of Indies who are equipped to resolve this niggling irritation would be welcome. Would also appreciate the names of any decent auto electricians.
The front camera is surprisingly useful when parking, driving through tight gaps & in France on unsurfaced roads.

I'd start by cleaning and checking the electrical connections if you can access them.
