New Defender prices?

Sorry - age old question, but I guess it’s a moving target - I specced a Defender 110 P400e to £73k, 9-12 month delivery, cash purchase, no trade in. Dealer offered a max token gesture of £500 off list. Anyone had any better luck, or any tips or tricks?

Maybe worth trying Drivethedeal.com i just checked and currently shows £3k+ discount of P400e Defender. Website is easy to use and always beats carwow when i have checked. I have used them for RRS recently and have been great to deal with and they put you in direct touch with the main dealer

I’ve just placed an order today for a D300. Was offered £500 off but they bought my old D5 off me at more than the WBAC price - £3500 more than their original book price.

It’s a back up plan in case my wife doesn’t like the SVR F-Pace that was delivered today. My main gripe is that the PCP monthly is £300 a month more for the Defender on a car that costs £10k less. PCP doesn’t stack up on a Defender at the moment for some reason but delivery miles cars are selling for way over list price. I’ll keep an eye on the market but heavily favouring flipping it at the moment.
