Anyone ordered one recently?
Seems a couple of good deals via usual sites and delivery between 16-24 weeks.
Will contact local dealers but they have not been competitive in the past so was wondering if anyone had a good deal and be willing to share who with.
Thanks

If you don’t need the (minimal) extra space and off-road performance of the RRS there were some good deals available on the F-Pace SVR. I managed 10% off in August and it should be getting built this month, so I think I’ve paid £73k with some options. F-Pace still has three or four years to run before being phased out but the RRS will be replaced imminently. The F-Pace is quicker as well.

Those SVR F-Pace are really nice but if i had the extra it would be the SVR RRS.
You guys that have ordered are in for a treat they are outstanding!
This is the case with me, IMO - currently owning a F85 X5M - the SVR F-Pace wouldn't be as much as a step-up as a RRS SVR would be. You guys that have ordered are in for a treat they are outstanding!

In what regard? The handling and performance of the F-Pace is significantly better and the updated interior nicer than the RRS. Although, granted, the ride height and extra space is quite nice in an RRS. And there’s definitely something to be said about the ‘command’ driving position you get in LRs - I’ll miss that coming from a long line of Discos. I did look at the RRS SVR but the base model was missing a load of extras that came as standard on the F-Pace, so the £25k price gap suddenly jumped up to £30k. And while I don’t really care about image, the RRS SVR image is a bit…..well…..ya know.
If the price gap had been narrower (if I could have afforded it, basically) I’d probably have gone with the RRS!

When you ask in what regard, as I said it's IMO and not just that but price wise, available discounts I am looking at currently would mean there not as huge a difference in pricing, especially monthly figures which actually are very similar given higher RRS SVR GFV and the discounts.I did look at the RRS SVR but the base model was missing a load of extras that came as standard on the F-Pace, so the £25k price gap suddenly jumped up to £30k. Again IMO, RRS SVR just has a better road presence (putting aside image element as if normal colours I think it's fine) and driving position comparing the two.

Oh I don’t disagree, even though I’ve got the F-Pace on order I’m not biased between the two so I wasn’t being confrontational. Again IMO, RRS SVR just has a better road presence (putting aside image element as if normal colours I think it's fine) and driving position comparing the two.
Yes, the RRS has more road presence, if that’s your thing. And yes, I think it’s image is fine in the slightly more subtle colours. It’s also better off road and sits higher which is why my wife wanted the RRS. But the F-Pace is more sports car (if you can call an SUV a sports car!) so I guess it’s whichever suits best. Anyway, that wasn’t your question…..
What discounts are you getting for the RRS? I seem to remember getting offered about 12% off (versus 10% on the F-Pace). With a £5k deposit the F-Pace is about £750 and the RRS was more like £950 with options added that were missing (blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise, etc…).
Edit: Drive the deal is doing £10,800 off the basic SVR, which is about 10%. Now working out well over £1k a month with my deposit, mileage and term. DTD gave better prices than CarWow.
Both great cars but it was this video that made me think the F-Pace was the better option for me (and the price). There’s a ‘sound off’ between the two somewhere and they’re actually very different.

The thing for me is that when I look at the new F-Pace it just doesn't look as good, I actually liked the pre-facelift better so not sure if I am just odd. Everyone is different, but for me it just doesnt really do anything in the looks department which is a shame. That being said I need to see the new one in the flesh properly. I've done a fair bit of remote work and managed £12k off the RRS SVR list price (I am happy with standard spec) but hoping to go in person to one of the dealers as well.

Replied to your DM the other day jimmy suggest you drop the team at Land Rover Leeds a call they were very helpful with my order.Just an update on this, was speaking to two dealers who had said they would meet the deal I wanted (one localish and one further afield) but haven't heard anything from them for just over a week now. Chased but no return calls or replies to emails.
Having checked recently it also seems the RRS is no longer listed on the likes of DTD and C2C, the latter actually has no Land Rover's listed now.
My assumption is they have stopped any new orders given delays and dealers are either waiting on news before coming back to me or avoiding telling me it's not going to happen.
May pop into local (60 miles away) dealer and see if face to face they might explain things.

Collected my SVR on the 15th December from Leeds, very good handover process and went through everything with the wife and I. Ended up with COVID just after xmas but still managed to get 1000 miles in before the 11th when I came back to work.... Overall I love it has pros and cons compared to the SQ7 that it replaced, roll on March / April when I actually get to drive it again.
