All, before I go booking into my local dealer, 2017 RRS showing internet access fault. Have replaced SIM with a new data sim that has been confirmed as working but still can't connect to internet / maps etc. Anyone had this fault previously?

I don’t know if it’s the same fault, but;

RRS autobiography 2017 with the later bigger screen infotainment, upgraded to s21 software with Apple car play.

I’ve created an Incontrol account and the car is registered to the account. I’ve downloaded the InControl app to an iPhone 11 Pro.

Problem 1) I have tried 2 SIM cards (micro sim) in the slot next to the USB in the centre cubby. With both cards, when switching mobile data on in settings>connectivity it says “reading SIM” for about 2 minutes, then mobile data just switches off. Both cards work fine when installed in a phone.

Problem 2) on the in control app, I see only 5 appS, these are contacts, music, calendar, cityseeker, eventseeker, genius maps. There are no other apps available to download. Should there be more?

Problem 3) when the iphone is connected via USB, on the car screen home>extra features>incontrol, it either just shows the 5 apps listed above which aren’t much use, or fails to connect at all.

Am I just doing something wrong? CarPlay, by the way, works fine.
