I have a courtesy car (2021 Evoque) whilst my Jag is having a new fuel pump fitted. This is taking ages as they can't source the part, so I'm stuck with the Evoque for the foreseeable.

I was being nagged by the Evoque to install the latest software, which I just did, and now the sound system is as dead as a dead thing - no radio, nout.

Any hacks to fix this before I start shouting down the phone to the dealer?

TIA

I should add that I wasn't provided with a handbook, so I'm winging it.

OK - forget the above. Locking the car for a few minutes and then unlocking seems to have rebooted the 'puter and it's decided to work.

Bloody electronics!

I'm leaving this here in case others have the same.

Turn it off turn it on again. No st Sherlock.

Yup. This seems quite common after a software update. And hybrid versions need a couple of miles to relearn how to behave properly

I still have the Evoque. Now the lower screen has frozen. The only thing I've seen online that will fix it is the same lock/unlock scenario.

It doesn't work on this car. Any ideas? (Apart from swearing and hitting it).
