Discovery Sport Roof Box & Rails
Discussion
I don't know the answer but can recommend roofbox.co.uk - website should tell you what roofbar feet you need for your model. As for roofbox, pretty much what one you want, subject to realistic weight limits of the bars. Double opening are easier, but I survive with opening on just one side. Long and thin or wide and short and 9tyers in-between .
Can't help you with the Discovery Sport (as we have a Range Rover Evoque) however the Land Rover site had some clearance items on it recently with a lot of the touring accessories reduced.
As we had a pan roof on the Evoque we got the roof rails from LR and got the dealer to fit (due to the hassle and accountability factor for any issues) and managed to find a 2nd hand set of genuine LR RR roof bars on Facebook Marketplace.
We bought our roofbox from the roofboxcompany and went for the KAMEI Husky 330 gloss black roof box which suited the looks of our RR Evoque Ember (black/red combo)
Only thing I should have also bought at the time was the roof box cover, as means I will not scratch the paint on the roofbox when storing it in the garage.
Fitting is relatively simple but needed a couple of attempts to get everything lined up. May be the same on the Discovery but the LR roof bars need to go on a certain way (due to airflow) , we made that rookie mistake when we had all the bars on but realised at the end.
Also would recommend that you get an additional black rubber strip that goes in the gutter of the t-bar section. When its on (without a roof box) the bars were very quiet, however as the strip is one complete length of rubber you really need an additional one to cut up and put on when the box is on the car.
