Changing the tyres on my FL2 it’s my first 4x4 and I’ve had it only a couple of months, is it ok to change just the rear tyres or will I need to change all 4? Thanks

I've been assured it's ok to change just two, though having said that I do rotate them to try and arrange it so change all 4.

It's a definite issue to avoid with FL1 though.

Whilst I didn't like it I have changed just two of mine a couple of times and over 80k it doesn't seem to have been a problem

It should be fine to change in pairs.

Just make sure the haldex has been serviced and I don’t see it being an issue.

you might want to go to a Freelander 2 Club website and pick their brains.

Should be serviced every 20K miles. But JLR don't stipulate it, whereas all other marques using the same system do.
