Guys
I have had my series 2A for all of a week, so naturally thoughts have turned to trying off road with it. Can anybody suggest a way of trying this out? I'm not looking for "extreme" just a gentle introduction into the delights of going off road

I also getting used to the noise

It depends where in the south you are, but this is a laugh. 20 quid for a day playing in mud You can make it as hard or as easy as you want.

I've also just bought a 2a (a 1970 LWB) and am trying to get used to the noise!

The LRO show at Malvern is not too far from me so I've booked a go on their off road course on the 27th August, that was £20 as well, but you've got to pay the tenner to get in too. I'm hoping for a decent autojumble there as I'm sure there will be many parts that I 'need'!

There are always bits that you need. Its then a case of justifying them that causes the problems.

Im actually quite lucky in that the other half is a Land Rover driver too, and a hybrid at that.

Hurrah.

I presume you mean the landrover is a hybrid rather than you other half?!

To be fair Mrs Bee is good and she encouraged me to get the landy, it went something along the lines of 'just get one and stop talking about it' although I suspect I won't be able to divert too many funds towards the landy without her querying whether I really do need it!

There are ways of doing this.

True, but hopefully by selling my kitcar I'll be allowed to spend that money as well.

Alans, did you manage to get on an off road course? The one at Malvern was pretty good, worth the money.
