I'm hoping not tricky at all as I've had a small issue with a trailer safety cable snagging as I tried to drive off and the tailgate took the brunt of 1/2 tonne of stone that got dragged over the chocks...
Oh whoopsie! Not too bad to replace, only a couple of bolts on each hinge plus rerouting of the electrical cables and refitting the locking mech. Plenty on eBay for around £100 or so to your door.
