Hi,

Wanting a scale model as a present but not sure which model is correct.

Chap owns a blue defender (110?)
Two doors
Panelled back end. No windows.

Not much to go on but can anybody confirm a model type for this panelled back vehicle?

Thanks

That's OK.

Curiously early in production (I think Series 1) the hard-top (i.e. van rather than station wagon) never had windows in the rear-facing panels either side of the door / cat flap, then they did and then, very late in Defender life cycle the windows dissapeared again.

Tax reasons or cost saving?
