Evoque Battery Charging Query
Discussion
Hi,
Today my wife's Evoque has started showing the message "Battery Low - Please Start the Engine" and so I wanted to check the battery with my optimate charger that I use for my Motorbike which has both test and charge function. However, when I've looked in the owner's manual it says that in order to charge the battery it must be disconnected, which I don't want to do in case it causes software and immobiliser issues etc.
Is it really necessary to disconnect the battery first or can I just connect the crocodile clips from the optimate and test/charge it up?
