Evoque Bike Rack - is Tow Bar my only option?

I am looking to get a bike rack for my Evoque and can only find options that require a tow bar, am I going to have to bite the bullet and get a tow bar fitted or do I have any other options?

If I do have to get a tow bar fitted is it best to go OEM which is circa £900 for parts and labour or have or have people gone with non OEM tow bars?

Depends on the ago of the car - if it is pre 2019 you can fit roof rails and onto there (about same cost as towbar - towbar ones are better in my view) if it is a newer car (new model) then just need cross bars and is much cheaper.
Some aftermarket towbars are ok some are cut into the bumper and look rubbish (you get what you pay for generally) - wouldn't be worried about strength so much for just a bike rack.

Thanks - for the help, I think it will be a tow bar option. I dont fancy someone cutting into the bumper so I think it will be an OEM job.
