Range Rover windscreen condensation why?!

Thanks .. my partners Mercedes doesn't do it and can't remember any of my none Range Rover cars doing it.
Fair enough. It is a bit of an enigma. I see many cars parked up and every three or four is misted up; some more than others. It could be there is a larger surface area of glass and/or more - or less - absorbent material in the cars. There may also be the difference between tailgated and booted cars, or that water is getting in somewhere.
Remember, it is a Land Rover and water leaks are standard
It’s probably nothing to worry about but only adopt this attitude after you’ve lifted the mats and are sure the carpet isn’t absolutely soaking wet.
I’ve had a Mondeo and an RR Classic that did this and both had soggy carpets. The Mondeo due to a perished door seal and the RR due to the big rust hole in the boot floor!

Just pop something in there to absorb the moisture and check for leaks.. wet carpets etc.

Mine did it for a couple of days when the daytime temp was ~14C degrees so probably 20+C in the car and then dropping to just above freezing at night. I guess it’s a big car with a large volume of air and the 20C drop would cause quite a lot of condensation. It only did it for a couple of days. Definitely not a leak in mine, I’ve had leaky cars and blown window seals before and the quantity of water in those instances was far higher.

Never had an issue with the L405 but the wifes Mini is very bad for it. No leaks and all dry on carpets etc just put it down to not being used much and temp changes.
If it’s the modern Mini, check the lower boot floor ( the concealed bit, some end up like swimming pools.Rotaree said:
Condensation means water getting into the cars, there can't be condensation without moisture. My L405 leaked through the left hand side of the tailgate but I couldn't see how the water was making it through the seals; in the end I gave up and traded it!
The air can contain an awful lot of moisture. A significant drop in absolute humidity caused by a big temperature drop causes condensation, as does a leak, it finding out which one you have that’s the interesting part.Jonny TVR said:
Both my L405 and L322 suffer from bad condensation inside in the morning. Other cars don't seem to do it. Why is this? am I alone?!
I have something similar with my 2011 L322. Only a problem seen this winter and much reduced use.I think it a result of water passing the main sunroof seal into the sunroof cartridge where it then goes down the drainage channels. Some moisture remains and then evaporates into the area between lining and roof. When it gets colder, that moist air then condenses on the windscreen and mostly near the rear-view mirror, where there is a gap in the roof lining.
I think more regular use fixes this issue. That, or open the sun roof on the tilt during the day to dry out that area.
