More Defender EV / PHEV models?

Evening all,

I would love a new Defender, ideally a full EV, or failing that a 90 PHEV. I can imagine packaging problems preventing a 90 PHEV, but I would be surprised if the manufacturer of the i-Pace didn’t fancy gussying up the powertrain into a premium LR model.

All I’ve found online is the original launch schedule (Bon Jovi through this linky: https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-britishcars/20... ), which doesn’t give much hope, and a throwaway mention of a premium ‘fourth model’ EV in https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/new-&#...

I can well understand LR playing its cards close to its chest, but does anyone have any insight into what’s likely?
