Nice.

Good mileage for it.

Check the paperwork for the oil pump having been changed when it’s belts were done.

If not. Get it booked in asap as the 2007 2.7 engine has a flaw in the pump casing.

6 weeks 218 miles and still no problems, although I must have a Range Rover Sport "superlight" as it has no spare wheel or tow ballbiggrin

enjoy it whilst its still working.

I have a 2006 supercharged, done 70k with me and now on 140,000.

had two big issues, once with break line and the other with suspension.

Spare wheels are notoriously easy to steal.

Check if you have the wire that holds it. Plenty have been cut to steal the wheel.
My D3 has a protective plate that covers the inside of the wheel to stop anyone getting at it.

Good looking Sport and those wheels are some of the best fitted to Sports of that era IMO.

Thats because someone has probably stolen it (Quite common). A company called RLD makes anti theft plates. They are about £90 I think. Discovery 3 HSE 6 spoke painted black was the spare for those I think. Relatively cheap used as not a very desirable wheel. Chances are the winch which is there for lowering the wheel to the ground is probably knackered, but I think think they are quite cheap new and I believe there are mods available to make them more reliable so worth googling that.

Few things to get done:
- Get the gearbox flushed if it hasn't got it one in the service history
- Have the EGRs blanked out and it will need an ECU tweak as well. Saves the EGRs causing issues later down the road.
- Glowplugs. Low miles, so they might be ok. You'll find out in the winter when it won't start. Getting them replaced can be a tricky, but no where near as bad as it used to be. You can also fit an FBH timer if you don't want to brave glow plug removal at a garage.

I had a Discovery 3 (Same car as the Sport really) and the engine was lovely. Super smooth and the engine on mine didn't put a foot wrong. Many other things did. Was a great car....when it was working If I had kept it, I would have eventually remapped. Really did feel underpowered at times, but the cost of keeping it on the road sucked up any funds for mods an my D3 was a pretty good one!

That’s the famous T5 chassis bks hehe

Strange on the wheel being missing.
eBay will bring a spare of your style, get a protector plate to keep it safe.
