so..

havent noticed before but when i parked on a slight hill the other day the passenger side floor was soaking and the same side rear floor was so wet when you opened the door water fell out - wasnt there when we parked.

thought must be a one off window wasnt shut etc. been fine since until i parked in exactly the same place sunday and the same happened?!

dried it last 2 days but gone in it today and passenger side very wet ( wetter than how i left it after drying ) although not pouring off like at the weekend but reckon it might if on the hill?

The incline is the only thing i can think of that connects the 2 occurrences.

today the car is very very damp inside with condensation - yes its very misty today but never used to be like that.

any ideas? not leaking from above. windows / doors were shut

thanks

Have you had the windscreen changed?

My L405 was leaking on the passenger side A pillar after a replacement screen, didn't know until I parked it on a incline (months later) the water had been running under the carpets and into the footwell and then the rear footwell.
It took out the amplifier on the way under the passenger seat frown (so sat nav, phone, radio etc) and was expensive to repair.
Worth getting the screen checked with some compressed air and soap.

Cheers Jon

This. I've just done mine with some strimmer cable following instructions online. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/disco-4-lea...

Although if it's at the rear there are drains at the back too AIUI.

I would check the drains, there are 4 of them.
Found at the corners, some curtain wire is good to rid them out.
The fronts can need replacement which is great fun to do.....

I had this problem in my van recently and it was the door seal that had split at the top and you couldn't see it until you pulled it tight revealing where the fold was.

Just to add, on the L405 the wires etc for the heated screen, are about 2/3rd of the way up on the passenger side A pillar, and are prone to letting in water there, if the bond has come away, this was my issue with a replacement screen.

Good luck with your hunt!

Defo sunroof drains blocked or holed...my sis bought our old Disco 4 and has the exact same passenger footwell puddle issue, as did some friends who had a Disco 3 with sunroof.

Sunroof drains were the problem on my D3 - and on the 3 there are joints in the wiring loom lurking under the nearside treadplate that don't like getting wet, which can lead to all manner of fun.

just an update. i looked at all the videos etc then decided i'm just going to break everything so took it to my local independent and they cleared all the sun roof drains and fingers crossed that seems to have fixed it. £99 all done so happy with that.

thanks for all the advice smile
